On November 19, 2024, the City of Haarlem, in Netherlands, hosted a meeting of the UAEU Partnership on Innovative & Responsible Public Procurement to outline the new Action Plan. The event also offered an opportunity to explore potential areas for collaboration with the Food Partnership, represented at the event by the Food Thematic Partnership Officer.

The Urban Agenda for the EU Partnership on Greening Cities is tackling some of the most pressing issues cities face in expanding green infrastructure, including how to secure innovative funding models. We are pleased to invite you to our upcoming public webinar, organized by the City of Ostrava, to explore the role of Cost-Benefit Analysis (CBA) in Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) and other financing tools that support green infrastructure development.

The UAEU Partnership on Food is addressing the key challenges faced by cities, as well as regional and national authorities, in creating more resilient, safe, and sustainable food systems. We are excited to introduce a new series of public webinars organized by the Partnership to delve into the complexities of food systems transformation, alongside innovative approaches and solutions.

On October 24-25 2024, members of the Cities of Equality Partnership convened in Paris to advance their shared vision of more inclusive and equitable cities across Europe. The meeting was hosted by the French Agency for Territorial Cohesion (ANCT), which coordinates this EU-wide partnership alongside the Metropolitan City of Rome.

Last week, the Urban Agenda for the EU participated in the European Week of Regions and Cities, the biggest annual Brussels-based event dedicated to cohesion policy.

On 26-27 September 2024, members of the Urban Agenda for the EU Partnership, Greening Cities, convened at the City Hall of Utrecht for an intensive two-day in-person meeting. The workshop aimed to finalize the Partnership's Action Plan in preparation for its submission to the Directors General on Urban Matters (DGUM) on October 14, 2024.

The Sustainable Tourism Partnership came together for a pivotal in-person meeting in the historic city of Tallinn on September 17th and 18th, 2024. This event marked not only a crucial milestone in the journey towards delivering a comprehensive Action Plan but also set the stage for stronger collaboration, deeper insights, and renewed momentum in addressing the complex dynamics of tourism in urban areas.
