Join the Innovation and Circular Procurement Study Visit in Haarlem, the Netherlands

Are you interested in Innovation and Circularity? Back-to-back to the Urban Agenda Partnership on Innovative and Responsible Public Procurement meeting on May 22nd and 23rd a special Study Visit will be organised.

Together with the Partnership members, professionals involved in procurement, sustainability and circularity, legal advisors and representatives of European public authorities are most welcome to join this session in the afternoon of May 23rd. The kick-off and introduction will start at 12:30 pm at ‘the Council Chamber’ of the City Hall, Grote Markt 2 in Haarlem, the Netherlands. We invite visitors at 11:45 am at ‘the Refter’ with coffee/tea and sandwiches before we start our session at 12:30 pm:

  1. European Innovation Award by winners 2021 and 2022: City of Vantaa (by Elina Värtö) and City of Haarlem (by Valentina Schippers-Opejko)
  2. Innovation and circularity in the City of Haarlem – practical examples by Valentina Schippers-Opejko
  3. EU Horizon project PROCEDIN training: capacity building of innovative and circular procurement for public authorities by Louise Knight of Twente University.

And we will visit producers and entrepreneurs on the spot to show you their innovative and sustainable solutions. 
We will offer you insights in how innovation can be accessible for European SME’s, public authorities and professionals in Europe.

This Study Visit is interesting for professionals involved in public procurement, sustainability and circularity, legal advisors and representatives of European public authorities.
