Movement and Migration in the Middle East: People and Ideas in Flux Conference, Edinburgh

The 2017 Annual Conference of the British Society for Middle Eastern Studies, which is organised in collaboration with Islamic and Middle Eastern Studies at the University of Edinburgh, will be about ‘Movement and Migration in the Middle East: People and Ideas in Flux’. At a time when mass migration within and from the region is dominating global debate, this conference will provide a forum for informed discussion, including insights into the historical background, current context, as well as the challenges posed by the present situation and possible future directions.
